 Post subject: burning during urination

i just got back from my doctor and was told i probably have ghonorrhea. i have had a urinary tract infection before (8 months ago) and she said that having another UTI is a possibility also. i am a male and i know UTI's are pretty rare for males. what are the possible reasons for getting multiple UTI's in one year as a male? is this something i should be worrying about?
