I have a complicated story to tell.
it all started over a year ago when things in my groin area started itching.
and it never really stopped itching and id scratch it a lot.
and it just got worse and worse really and i tried many things
i am poor, and cannot afford health insurance and had never heard of a free clinic.
i was positive i had an std or something, though im not promiscuous ( you really dont have to be, just unlucky is enough)
anyway, i tried all kinds of things like spraying alcohol to keep it clean, that worked a little and helped with the itch. and some other things like clyndamyacin and even oral antibiotics that i aquired. (these only worked limitedly and not permanently) but i had never been to see a doctor.
then one day i decided i was sick of using rubbing alcohol and bought a package of those "wet ones" antibacterial. this stuff was really effective at killing the skin infection. once it started to die, i noticed the skin began to get waht appeared to be a grey-blue hue to it.
this made a light go off in my head, because when i had althletes foot and used common OTC cures to kill it, the bad skin between my toes would look blueish.
so i got some antifungal cream for jock itch. . . and to my amazement a couple days later, it looked NORMAL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME.
then one day i was looking down a 12 hour shift at the warehouse (hot and humid hellhole) where i work and i forgot to bring my wipes and creme to stay dry and clean, i ended up rubbing the area raw (im positive now that these shifts in this place, as ive been working there ten yaers, are what caused all this to begin with.) and the area wnet back to being red and painful for a couple days i continue using the creme, and its dying again, and trying to go back to normal. btw i sweat buckets down there when its hot. if this is a fungus it is being ahrd to kill, as i understand jock itch to be, characteristically.
i dont ahve any symptoms on my penis, and only two red irritated areas on my scrotum, right where they usually contact my legs throughout the day.
and last but not least is one large (sometimes) sore, like an abscess (round and full of garbage) that has now decided it isnt going to completely heal over long enough for the infection/fungus to die.
instead its decided to slowly drain a clear (unless absorbed by a white kleenex or "wet one" in which case is a clearish yellow) nasty smelly substance that spreads all over and causes the itching to come back.
at the first chance i get im going to spend a day with a hot compress to try and empty it completely, as it is obviously causeing the irritation and infection. . . or at least causeing it to not heal as fast.
if you ahve any insight or suggestions or anything else as to what to do, please tell me. help me. i think im very close to destroying this problem once and for all but if it sounds to you like it could be sometihng like syphillis instead of just a regular abscess, or if the irritation, itching, redness, sounds like it could be something other than tpical skin infections from scratching a fungus, please let me know.

p.s. please dont say "go see your doctor" or something like that im already 3000 dollars in debt with the local hospital from a few months ago when i got food poisoning. (dont knwo how that costs 3000 dollars but w/e im not paying it. i make freakin 180 a week. i cant freakin eat on wekends.)
