About a month ago on my 20th birthday I had intercourse with a girl I've known for quite a while, we used a condom and this is the only girl I've had intercourse with that hasnt been one where I know her sexual history. Both of my previous and current sexual partners were virgins and I have always used condoms with them. Two days after having intercourse with the girl on my birthday, I noticed that I had a red open sore near the tip of my penis, I assumed this was from "humping the bed" as I had slipped out of her a couple times during intercourse since we were both drunk at the time. It went away within a week and was always just like a little cut, no blistering or scabbing. I hadnt thought anything of it until today when I noticed a rather raw, red spot about the size of a pencil eraser on the shaft of my penis. What could this be? Any ideas?

if there was more then one and it didn't blister and looked like a cut it could be HSV but a mild first outbreak. It could also be a number of different skin infections.
Generally with Herpes the first outbreak is the worst but as with all health issues thats not always the case. If you see a doctor they can give you a blood test that will give you a definite answer, also you could mention it to the girl and see if she comes clean. Other than that it may be syphilis but theres really no way to tell unless you get tested, which of course we recommend.
