I'm a 17 year old male, and have been sexually active with the same girl for a year now. Yesterday I woke up with 103 fever, sore throat, swollen glands and tonsils. I went to my pediatrician who told me I have a sinus infection...but I didn't mention that I have a horrible stinging burning when urinating along with the tip of my penis very red and a little swollen. I don't know if I have a urinary tract infection or an Sti? My older cousin (21) said shell bring me to get tested but I don't know if I need parental consent or where to go!!!! Help idk if this really could be an Sti or just a uti so pleaseeee help!?!?!?!

Well if it's swollen and red it sounds like some kind of infection like a UTI or something else. Most STI's don't make it swell most of the time. You don't need any kind of consent when getting tested and they won't send anything to your home if you don't want them to.
