ive known for several years now that i have hemorrhoids. i know this is not an std. but the issue is it can easily be mistaken as genital worts by those who never seen them or dont understand the difference. usually hemorrhoids go away on thier own in a few days. but mine are chronic. they are due to irritable bowels and sitting around a lot. i have been to a doctor for this. i had a colonoscopy. i also ended up in the er a cvouple times with rectal bleeding. in all these situations the doc said it was hemorrhoids and not genital worts. this relieves me of course. however...

the question here is...how do i explain this to other people? i am single right now. i have recently met someone i like and want to have fun with. i was also supposed to get a pap smear earlier today as part of a yearly exam checkup. but my doctor had apparently miscalsulated when my insurance would allow me to have another pap. my last one was a year ago. i have had a hysterctomy a couple years ago. so now my insurance says i cvant have another pap untill 4 more years. thats 5 total years after my last pap. unless of cxourse trhere are obvious symptoms i need checked out, whoich i dont have. my friend knows i was supposed to get the pap today. but i had forgotten previously about mentioning the hemorrhoids. i just remembered about them and plan to tell him so he doesnt m,istake them for worts. but....

now that i found out i couldnt get the pap smear though, how am i supposed to tell him that i couldnt get the pap and so i still dont know what my std status is right now but i do have these hemorrhoids. i fear he will think im lying and covering up having genital worts when im not.

Why would he think you were lying?? Hemorrhoids are very common. And what kind of insurance do you have? that's madness.
