on a 28yr male with a gf. On june 17 i had unprotected intercourse with a chick from work. didnt last much. on July 1 I found a small pimple like bump on my scrotum. so on July 2, I went to get tested and they said it was a infected follicle. But they tested me for the clap and gonn, both were negative. On july 6 i went back to the clinic cause i felt a slight discomfort when peeing, they tested me again for clap and gonn and again they were negative. But they gave the meds zithromax just in case. Mentally it made me feel better cause i was down-spiraling with stress, anxiety and guilt. So at first i thought i was being psychosomatic, i didnt have any rash or leisions or blisters or any discharge. I do have a sore throat but im asthmatic and im used to having colds and sore throats. I went to get a third opinion since the pain urinating was still existant, they look at my genitals and said that it did not look like herpes that i was probably feeling guilty. All the test places i went to were clinics not my primary doctor. Today being the 23 of July im still experiecing the slight discomfort when urinating and now Im a afraid that i might be getting a first outbreak cause my genitals feel a bit warm. My question is an I being psychosomatic cause I being stressing since the first week of july?? How long does it usually take before getting an actual outbreak when u first initial symptom. I keep reading on the net and it sounds like if i really did have herpes i should of gotten an outbreak by now?(is that correct). Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
