--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I just early this morning started getting itchiness and off-and-on sharp pain just inside the head of penis. By about 5 PM or so, I started getting clear, sticky discharge from my penis. The discharge has only happened once so far, but I have constant itching/discomfort just inside the head of my penis now.

I do have unprotected oral--and only oral--intercourse with women I shouldn't, and I'm aware that some STD's can be transmitted by receiving oral intercourse, but I figured the risk was small. However, with these symptoms, I'm assuming I have some form of STD, but I'm not sure which one.

My bigger question, though, is that I happen to have been on an antibiotic, Clindamycin, for the past 8 days for an unrelated issue, an infected cut on my leg. If I had contracted an STD recently, shouldn't the antiobiotics in my body have already knocked it out before I got to the stage of symptoms?

I'm no doctor but just because your on an antibiotic doesn't mean that your protected from contracting the infection even if it is a drug that is sometimes used to treat it. Different infections need different doses over different periods of time.

That said it's probably some kind of infection like chlamydia or gonorrhea and you should get it taken care of before it causes damage. Also because you were on an antibiotic it may make the infection more resistant so the sooner the better.
