My daughter contracted chlamydia during the time she had broken up with her boyfriend - Nov 2007-Jan 2008. They got back together in late Jan 2008. She started showing a discharge and they discussed it but she did not get tested until Sept 2008. He got tested as well. She has chlamydia and he does not. Is it possible for him not to have gotten it from her? Could he have gotten a false negative? Should he be re-tested? He is questioning her loyalty and she knows she has not been with anyone since they got back together.

It is possible but generally if they are not using condoms then he should have contracted it.
They should both be tested and treated anyway and remain abstinent until the doctor tells them the infection is gone so that they don't pass it back and forth to each other.
