I had a single brown smooth lump on my shaft. It looked like a blister. Eventually it either subsided or leaked out and now, months later, it's just a barely visible dark spot. Should I be worried?

I would be a little worried. Brown bumps are usually HPV which may be a genital wart but they don't usually pop. Herpes can come and go but are usually more blister like and red and syphilis is usually a single blister that will go away on it's own but remains in your system and can be quite dangerous if not treated.

Anytime something odd goes on down there I would get it looked at. There are plenty of clinics across the country that will do this even if you don't have insurance.
