About a year ago, May 2008 I found out I had chlamydia I took all the pill I was prescribed and thought I was fine. I started taking the depo shot in October 2008 and only got the shot twice, and was due for my third shot in April 2009 but never got it. I started having brown vaginal discharge in late May. I have read that brown discharge is a symptom of chlamydia, could I have had chlamydia for an entire year? Any one know if the brown discharge is normal after getting of the depo shot? Since I got treated for chlamydia in 2008 I have not had unprotected intercourse, and only with 2 people, so I really don't think its likely that I contracted chlamydia again. Thanks for your help.

It could be the chlamydia it is possible that you had it all year long or it could be the shots. That has been reported as a symptom. When it would be something I would talk to my Gyno about.
