Ive had this pimple, big and red with a white head and a hair growing out the center, about an inch and a half above my penis in the pubic hair area for quite awhile. I always thought it was a hair folical infection, but it wouldnt go away. Now today i just noticed a 2nd one just like it, to the left of it. These are the only two that i know of and both these zit-looking things are wrapped around a single hair and release alot of puss and blood when popped.

Im trying to find a local clinic that can work with my schedule but when they are open im always on the other side of the state.
What is this a symptom for?

If i pop them they go quite awhile without another popping because they just remain a red bump around a pubic hair for more than a couple weeks. they dont hurt onless the white head is there or its freshly popped.

Tough to say without some testing. It doesn't sound like HPV but it may be herpes. Really though it sounds more like an ingrown hair. Sorry I can't be of much more help.
